Immersive adaption of the Lewis Carroll classic created by Jasmin Vardimon Company.
Arriving to Medway for the first time at Chatham Library, you are invited to experience Alice in VR Wonderland, an immersive adaptation of the timeless tale by Lewis Carroll.
Using a VR headset and 3D sound, you will be immersed in a spectacular 360 degree virtually reality wonderland and feel up close with the talented performers in this magical, multi-sensory adventure.
The event is free, you just need to turn up. Please be aware that during busy periods there may be a short wait and a queuing system put in place. The running time for the experience is 20 minutes.
This work is presented by Ashford-based Jasmin Vardimon Company, internationally renowned for stunning dance theatre. It was originally developed in partnership with McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, Arts Council England, Gulbenkian Arts Centre / iCCi, Kent County Council and DanceEast.
Family-friendly. Alice in VR Wonderland will be a highly sensory/stimulating experience. VR content recommended for ages 7+, headsets weight recommended for ages 13+. Parental consent required for children under the age of 13. Toilets available in the library.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the human response to virtual reality, for the safety of the participant they are advised to seek advice from a doctor before the experience if they have any of the following conditions:
• Motion sickness
• Heart, orthopaedic or other serious medical conditions.
• Pacemaker and/or other implanted medical devices.
• Are or may be pregnant.
• Epilepsy or a history of photosensitive seizures.
• Anxiety disorder or post-traumatic stress disorder.
• Or any other condition that may be affected by VR.

There is onsite paid parking to the back of the library, with additional parking at the nearby Pentagon Shopping Centre. Chatham Waterfront Bus Stop is a 2-minute walk. Chatham Station is 10 minutes.
